1965 - A 1965 1965 Harley Davidson M50 (I was in Grade 12 at the time.) Sold it after a couple of months as it was not big enough! Here is a link to a picture of the same model I owned.

1965- Purchased a 1950ish BSA B33 500 cc single similar to this (Mine was not nearly as nice!). I kept this bike for a couple of years. In 1967- Sold the the BSA as I was working in the oil patch all over Western Canada and didn't have time to ride it.

1970- I Purchased this 1964 250cc BSA.This machine is now in the Transportation museum in Moose Jaw, Sask. Imagine my shock in the 1980's when I took a Grade 5 class I was teaching on a field trip to the museum and discovered one of my old bikes was now on display! I sold the bike in about 1971 as I was going to University and needed the money. It was in excellent condition (rebuilt from the ground up) when I got rid of it. It has obviously been neglected in the intervening years! I took this photograph a couple of years ago during a visit back to Saskatchewan. I was very disappointed to see that not much effort appears to be have taken to conserve the bike.

1973 (Spring)- Purchased a Suzuki X6 Hustler to travel backwards and forwards to University. I sold it in the fall of 1973 and bought a truck as I was moving to Northern Sask to begin my teaching career-the bike just would not carry all my possessions.

September, 2004- Purchased a used BMW K75

In December 2005 I put a downpayment on a brand new motorcycle!  A 2004 F650CS BMW I took delivery in April 2006. Unfortunately I had to trade in my K75 which I really enjoyed, but I wanted a newer machine.

In the Spring of 2006 I sold the F650CS and purchased a much larger machine, which I still own: a 2005 Kawasaki Concours. I love this bike: lots of power, comfortable and dependable.
